Wadi Tala after the floods
There are rivers flowing in the high mountains, and they are likely to run for a week or so as there is still a lot of snow further up. And there will be small creeks, waterfalls, cascades for months to come, well into the summer. Older people recall they have only seen so much water when they were kids. The road to St Katherine through Wadi Feiran is now open for cars, but it is a rough ride as it is badly damaged. Microbuses from Suez have now started coming as well, although the coaches still don’t. There are no problems whatsoever coming from Nuweiba or Sharm.
